This Privacy Policy outlines how HAPI TECHNOLOGIES ("HAPI") collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal and medical information provided by healthcare professionals and their patients. By using the HAPI Suit of Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. 

 

2. Information We Collect 

Personal Data: This may include your name, contact information, professional credentials, and other personal details necessary for onboarding and using the HAPI suites of services. 

 

Medical Data: This includes patient information, such as medical records, test requests & results, uploaded to the HAPI Suit of Services. HAPI only processes such data with explicit consent obtained by the healthcare provider, the patient and healthcare stakeholders.  

 

3. How We Use Your Information 

Service Provision: We use the information to facilitate your access to the HAPI Web App and its features. 

 

Data Analysis: While ensuring individual privacy we may analyse data to identify trends and improve service delivery, improve the HAPI suites of services functionality and ensure compliance with legal requirements. 

 

Communication: We may use your contact information for service notifications, to send updates, alerts, surveys or other relevant information regarding the HAPI Web App. 

 

4. Data Sharing: 

Data Sharing: Patient data is shared only with authorized third parties, (such as Ampath Laboratories for blood tests), and the relevant parties, patients and or healthcare providers, as necessary for medical purposes and with explicit consent. 

 

Third-Party Service Providers: For technical support and service improvements, under strict confidentiality your details and medical data will be shared with the relevant medical service providers. We do not share your personal or medical data with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent and in order to enhance platform functionality. 

 

Data may be shared with third-party service providers involved in maintaining or improving the HAPI suite of services. 

 

The blood test request as well as the results will be shared with the relevant patients and doctors (including their chosen staff) that have been requested to additionally receive the results. 

 

All systems, software, and methodologies developed by HAPI remain HAPI's intellectual property. 

 

5. Data Security 

We use encryption protocols and implement robust security measures to protect your data from unauthorised data access, breaches, alteration, or disclosure. 

 

6. Your Rights 

You have the right to: 

 

Access your personal and patient information stored on the HAPI Suit of Services. 

 

Request correction, and or deletion of your personal information stored in the HAPI`s digital storage-records. 

 

Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
